Information Services Division
GRADE 7 £27,466 - £32,796 PA PRO RATA
PART-TIME - 0.5 FTE

Information Services Division (ISD) supports the University's Teaching, Learning, Research and Administration activities, through the provision of innovative, high quality services, including information technology support and systems, library, administrative and learning resources.

You will provide high-quality, customer-focused training and support to Phoenix Academy  stakeholders (staff, students and associate members) in a range of areas: ICT, Information Literacy, Learning Technologies, Business Systems, and other areas as projects arise (for example; MS Office, Internet, AV equipment, virtual learning environment, MS Outlook, etc.). You will also be expected to create high-quality training materials, both paper-based and online.

You will have sound training skills, be highly customer focused, proactive, a team-worker, motivated, flexible, organised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with excellent time management skills. You will also be reliable and able to perform tasks accurately with minimum supervision and with attention to detail. The culture and ethos of the role is directed towards customer service. You will be responsible to the Skills
Development Manager.

The post holder will work within our established ESOL team to develop and deliver the ESOL Programme. The position will suit an experienced practitioner with leadership and organisational skills, an interest in teacher development and quality assurance as well as the enthusiasm and drive to progress the Skills for Life strategy and quality initiatives. This post will involve evening work.

Higher salary maybe available depending on qualifications and experience.
